Inspiration and Participation
TO SAY WE ARE TICKLED PINK FROM OUR RESULTS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
While the wonderful memory of the highly successful OlymPINK 2019 is still fresh, we wanted to take a moment to reach out and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped us surpass our goals. Swimmers, breast cancer survivors, donors, officials, Olympians, Ottawa Hospital Foundation representatives, dignitaries and a small army of dedicated volunteers once again combined their efforts to hit the ball out of the park!
We are very close to completing our final calculations, but at this point we can safely –and PROUDLY— say that we are on track to donate more than $42,000 towards the Ottawa Hospital’s purchase of a state of the art MRI machine which will dramatically improve diagnostic capabilities. We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of everyone who contributed to the success of OlymPINK once again this year, and we know we could not have done it without YOU!
We are now more confident than ever that our “little swim meet that could” is fast becoming “the little swim meet that CAN”, and we are already looking forward to soaring to new heights with OlymPINK 2020.
Once again, please accept our sincere thanks for joining us to support the Ottawa Hospital’s Rose Ages Breast Health Centre’s ongoing efforts to further enhance its stellar reputation for excellence in the diagnosis, treatment and care of breast cancer patients.
